We are working hard to bring Doxy-PEP to you through SWISH.
In the meantime, below is some information about Doxy-PEP.
What is Doxy-PEP?
Doxy-PEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) are pills you take after sex to help prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like syphilis and chlamydia.
Take 200 mg dose after condomless sex. It’s best to take it within 24 hours, but it still works up to 72 hours later. Only take one dose every 24 hours, no matter how many times you had sex during that time. If you have a lot of sex over a few days, you can just take one dose at the end of that 72-hour period.
Doxy-PEP won’t protect you from viruses like HIV or hepatitis B. You can find out more information and book an appointment about HIV prevention with PrEP PreExposure Prophylaxis | SWISH
You can discuss more during your appointment in SWISH and see if eligible
